A June weekend.
Highlander tradition.
The long Corpus Christi weekend is a wonderful opportunity to visit Zakopane and experience one of the most beautiful local celebrations.
The largest procession in Tatra County begins at the Holy Cross Church, just 300 metres from Villa Aqua Montana. Both local residents and visitors take part.
The procession passes through the town and ends at the Holy Family Sanctuary by Krupówki Street. Colourful Highlander costumes and decorated houses create a setting for a tradition that is still very much alive here.
